Olympic sport of weightlifting consists of two events, the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. The second event is the Clean and Jerk.
In this lift, the bar and plates are first lifted to the shoulders then jerked to the solid position overhead.
The Clean and Jerk has been called the “King” of all lifts. While the Snatch lift has been described as the World’s Fastest Lift, the Clean and Jerk is the World’s Most Powerful.
