Growing up, no one believed I’d achieve anything. My mom feared I’d fail out of college. My best friend told me I’d “marshmallow” my way through life. And my girlfriend’s father said “no” when I asked for her hand in marriage. Ouch.
They saw me as a procrastinator. A guy with no drive who’d never amount to anything. The worst part? I knew they were right… But I refused to accept that fate for myself. Determined to prove them wrong, I delved into learning how the brain works.
I was shocked to discover how malleable the brain really was and how much control we had over our own lives. The power of “yet” became my driving force. It meant I could actually improve myself and build new skills. This led me to co-found Quest Nutrition which was named the second fastest-growing company in North America and eventually sold for a billion dollars.
My goal is to inspire other entrepreneurs to see their limitless potential and do something extraordinary with it.
