Terence Watts – BWRT – Thanatophobia

This course explores the concept in detail to both educate the attendee and minimise their own fear of death, resulting in a lower likelihood of being triggered by a client’s psychical response.
A single two-hour class from 3.00 pm – 5.00 pm (no experiential content) that explores the many facets of death and dying with which a client might present. A comprehensive questionnaire and resolution material, including a dedicated protocol, is part of the course.
Why take this course
The fear of death – Thanatophobia, to give it the correct name – is ubiquitous and quite normal, though it can be difficult to resolve the situation where it dominates an individual’s life. This course provides the answer.
What You Will Learn
Evolution has ensured that the fear of death is instilled into even the lowliest of creatures, even though they probably do not have an appreciation of what death is or what it means. And yet, if it is likely, they scurry to escape the unknown, purely as a result of the ‘survival engine’ that has evolved to be a part of all life. When no threat is present, there is no awareness and no scurrying.
The human animal, though, has a cross to bear. We are ‘gifted’ with intelligence and the ability to imagine the future… and the end of that future. We understand that, one day, we are simply going to cease to exist. Many come to terms with the concept and find a degree of acceptance, especially with age. But for some, it is a stultifying fear that frequently dominates their every thought.
For many, it is not just the fear of their demise but also other factors that create hard-to-tolerate anxiety including:
- Fear of pain and illness
- The manner of death
- Fear of what happens afterwards
- Karma – they have been ‘bad’ and will have a bad death
- Not being able to watch the young grow up
- Causing pain by leaving others behind
- Others not being able to manage without them
All these issues and more are discussed, along with resolutions, in the training. There is also a great deal of material that encourages the client to think about the concept of death differently, and certainly less obsessively. As a result, because they can hold the notion more easily in their psyche without becoming overwhelmed, less fear is generated.
As usual in BWRT courses, there is plenty of support material
- A comprehensive questionnaire that explores the concept calmly and rationally in great detail.
- Advice on which protocols to employ and exactly when.
- Advice on when to introduce various enliberating concepts.
- A specific protocol about energy and human existence, The Continuum
It would be unethical, and indeed unwise, to seek to completely remove the fear of death from the psyche. Instead, the material in this course seeks to create a sense of acceptance that it is ‘the natural order of things’ and that literally nobody truly knows what happens after we die, though it makes no promises of any form of ‘heaven’ or other religious construct.
There is an included narrative which offers an entirely unique view of life and death, and is all but impossible to refute. It creates neural pathways that offset the absolute fear of oblivion.
Is this suitable for me?
This course is suitable for Level 1 upwards and is a great resource to have – the fear of death can be very difficult to permanently resolve otherwise. It is especially recommended if you yourself have an elevated fear of death.
