High School Strength & Conditioning Coach Certification
The high school level is one of the fastest-growing segments of the strength & conditioning field. Opportunities to work in high schools and with athletes are plentiful. Unfortunately, many people who apply for these positions are not qualified or well-qualified. You have everyone from overzealous parents to sports coaches thinking they know how to train athletes, and the kids simply aren’t getting what they deserve.
These coaches and parents are often misguided and over-train athletes, wasting their energy and putting them in dangerous situations.
Young athletes need an environment that encourages them to excel. Expert performance coachTo help them reach their highest potential, you can be a mentor.
The IYCA is on a mission to change the landscape of strength & conditioning in high schools.
The IYCA has redesigned the website to make it possible. High School Strength & Conditioning Specialist Certification It is designed to be the most practical, scientifically sound, and comprehensive certification for anyone who works with high school athletes.
With authors from major colleges, NFL teams, highly-acclaimed high school programs and world-renowned sports performance facilities, the HSSCS is the gold-standard in education for the high school strength & conditioning coach. High school athletes can be difficult to train. To make sure they have the ability to influence young athletes for their entire lives, coaches need to be extremely well-educated. We want all athletes empowered to reach their full potential.
