Grand Master Nan Lu – Wu Ming Qigong

Grand Master Nan Lu’s “Wu Ming Qigong 2024” is an advanced course focusing on Wu Ming Qigong, a traditional Chinese practice designed to harmonize the body’s energy and enhance overall well-being. The program covers the principles and techniques of Wu Ming Qigong, including movement sequences, breathing exercises, and meditation practices. Participants learn to cultivate and balance vital energy (Qi), improve physical health, and achieve mental clarity through this ancient practice, integrating modern insights with traditional wisdom for optimal results in 2024.
Module 1: Lay the Foundation to Progressively Reach New Levels of Health, Vitality & Emotional Balance on Your Wu Ming Qigong Journey (September 3)

What is Wu Ming Qigong, and what makes it so unique as a Qigong system?
As your journey begins, you’ll learn the origins and philosophy of the system. You’ll learn how to progressively reach new levels of your Qigong practice that nurture the body and soul.
Master Lu will also introduce you to three new Qigong forms.
In this opening module you’ll explore:
- How to get the best results from your Qigong practice
- The Dragon Prays form, a system of gentle marching to connect to the earth energy and nurture Kidney Qi
- The Dragon Plays Taiji Ball form — within the circle, you’ll see everything as Yin/Yang as you bring balance to the body and peace to the mind
- The Dragon Stands Between Heaven and Earth form, feel your power in this posture as you communicate with Universal Qi for healing
Module 2: Merge the Green Dragon System and Qigong Practice for Full-Body Awareness (September 10)

Grand Master Lu will introduce you to the Green Dragon System, an approach to Qigong that follows the natural Five Element Consciousness Framework.
He’ll also explain why Liver Qi is so important to modern life.
As you learn two new Wu Ming Qigong forms, your ultimate goal will be improving healthy liver function.
In this module you’ll explore:
- A discussion of Liver Qi’s connection to the wood element according to the Five Element Consciousness Framework
- What limits Liver Qi flow and how the Qigong routine you’re learning can support its overall health
- Dragon Dives Into the Sea, a dramatic form emulating the flexibility of Liver Qi
- Dragon Flies Into the Sky, a graceful movement where you’ll encourage the liver’s energy to relax and be flexible
- Practices to refine the Qigong forms you’ve learned so far
Module 3: Qigong Movements for Harnessing Your Energy & Improving Your Digestive Health (September 17)

Now that you’ve addressed liver function, Master Lu will guide you to move to the digestive system.
The strength of the earth element is evident in your digestive system/spleen, which is the root of your adaptive immune system.
Master Lu will guide you to explore this aspect of Five Element Consciousness Framework and its partnership with the wood element.
In this module, you’ll discover:
- A discussion of your digestive system — including the importance of digesting, manifesting, transforming, and distributing your energy
- How your spleen and digestive system draw strength from the earth element, in keeping with the Five Element Consciousness Framework
- Dragon Spirals Into the Cloud, a form that transforms your feelings and touches the power of the dragon flying into the clouds
- Practices to create a stronger inner vibration by refining the Wu Ming Qigong movements you’ve learned so far
Module 4: Transform Stuck Emotions to Access Your Kidney Qi & Strengthen Your Immune System (September 24)

Kidney Qi is the root of your genetic wisdom, and it connects to your innate immune system.
Master Lu will guide you to explore the invisible world of emotions and how they can limit your Kidney Qi.
As you shift into this invisible world, he’ll ask you to use your imagination as you become the dragon flying through the sky.
You’ll gradually combine all forms to create a magnificent dance of Qi, taking your time as your energy becomes more familiar with the motions.
In this module, you’ll explore:
- Stuck emotions that limit your potential for self-discovery
- Techniques to access your Kidney Qi, which Master Lu calls your birthright
- How your Kidney Qi connects to the water element within the Five Element Consciousness Framework
- Refinement of each Wu Ming Qigong movement for grace and flow
- Putting your imagination into the energy of the dragon for an expressive Qigong practice
Module 5: The Healing Power of Inner/Outer Communication to Strengthen Resilience & Bring Forth Your Inner Beauty (October 1)

As you complete the entire Wu Ming Qigong form this week and begin to refine the whole sequence, you’ll learn how the heart and lungs enjoy a unique relationship that supports life….
The heart must do the work of supporting the lung, the body’s largest organ.
You’ll explore how Lung Qi is impacted by stress, emotional upset, and a poor digestive system.
You’ll focus on deepening your connection to personal Qi flow within the form.
In this module, you’ll discover:
- How your inner world distributes and receives Lung Qi
- How the lungs are connected to the metal element, while the heart is connected to fire in TCM’s Five Element Consciousness Framework
- How Lung Qi impacts the heart
- The complete Wu Ming Qigong form with continued guidance to enhance inner vibration
- How to take the Wu Ming Qigong form to a higher level of connection
Module 6: Gain Access to Your Genetic Wisdom With Traditional Chinese Medicine Practices (October 8)

Your inner world carries hidden access codes waiting to be discovered — and you cannot unlock them through the mind.
These codes can be accessed only through quality Qigong practices combined with a working knowledge of TCM theories.
Now that you’ve experienced Wu Ming Qigong, you’ll explore additional levels of self-healing and focus on what’s required to sustain healing.
In this module, you’ll explore:
- The meaning of essential TCM terms, including Oneness, Consciousness, and Everyday Healing
- How your inner potential depends on your individual Quality-Quantity ration, and what this means
- How to create the circle of oneness within the Wu Ming Qigong form as you add in feeling, imagination, and grace
Module 7: Continue the Self-Cultivation Process Each Day & Maintain the Results You’ve Achieved (October 15)

As this journey comes to a close, you’ll ask yourself, what’s next?
As you celebrate all you’ve learned and practice the entire Qigong form, you’ll reflect on the four levels of Qigong practice: heal your inner self, discover your potential, find your connection with nature, and cultivate compassion for those around you.
In this final module, you’ll reflect on:
- The results of a guided self-assessment of your progress
- What it will look like for you to continue this self-cultivation process
- How to make these new Wu Ming Qigong practices a permanent part of your life
- Which paths of understanding are right for you
