NLP Practitioners can understand advanced behavioral modeling
What does the author (one of the world’s leading experts in Neuro Linguistic Programming) mean by the title ‘Strategies’?
Dr. WoodsmallThere is a lot confusion in the NLP community about strategies. This book will help to clear some of that confusion. A ‘strategy’ A sequence of representational accesses a person uses to achieve a particular outcome (make a decision, take action). He says that life can be seen as a series of nearly infinite representational accesses.
A person’s entire life is spent either:
• seeing pictures externally or remembering or constructing pictures internally or
• listening to sounds externally or remembering or constructing sounds internally or
• making sense of experience or experiencing sensations or
• remembering or constructing sensations or
• smelling or tasting or remembering or constructing smells or tastes. Get immediate download Wyatt Woodsmall – Strategies
Each person will have a sequence that they use to accomplish any task.
People have patterns of thinking, feeling, and doing things that they are accustomed to. There’s a reason they do. These patterns were created as coping strategies for young people. They worked at the time, and were reinforced by repeated use.
Humans are known for their ability to keep doing the things that work. These patterns may not be the best or most efficient way to do something, but they were successful once and have been used again.
Sometimes they are used in different contexts than those they were created in. In these cases, they may not work as well or be more efficient. There are no good or poor strategies. Strategies They are either not useful or useful for certain outcomes.
Occasionally people have strategies that don’t work particularly well. They wish to do more with their existing strategies. You can either create a strategy for yourself or model someone else’s strategy. After a strategy is developed or obtained from another person, the final step will involve installing it in the recipient.
Everything starts with the elements of a strategy. They are the fundamental building blocks of NLPSM and Advanced Behavioral ModelingSM. Genius is partly based on having a highly-effective strategy and partly on being able to execute that strategy exceptionally well.
