Your eyes are a reflection of your overall health.

Illnesses such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease can be revealed in the eyes. Conditions such as glaucoma, optic neuritis or vision loss are often associated with systemic health problems.

It is this interconnection between your eyes and your health that energy medicine, acupuncture and Oriental medicine can tap into and utilize to treat eye and vision problems.

Eye conditions respond well to energy medicine techniques, acupuncture and nutrition. These modalities have been used successfully to treat a wide range of eye problems for centuries.

• I had the honor to work as a team with other EEM Practitioners to help another student/practitioner and wanted to share this experience with you. I would like to say thank you to Celia, Maddie, Katy, João, and most importantly Donna Eden for this incredible opportunity to experience the power of Eden Energy Medicine at its finest. It works beautifully for clearing and healing emergency situations, shock, allergies, pain, trauma, emotions, and most importantly supported her eye health. What an honor and privilege it is for me to share this work and be part of such an incredible healing community.
• Recently, during Class 6 of the Eden Energy Medicine Certification Program in England, faculty member Amy McDowell had just finished teaching Energy Medicine First Aid and including the Shock Point and was just moving into a Tracker Demonstration when I looked up and saw two students in distress running out of the room with Madison King and faculty member, João Paulo Pestana, EEM-AP and Faculty Member from Portugal.
• EEMCP Year 2 student, Celia Hinton, had just let out a yelp. As she realized the pain she was beginning to experience was from a wasp sting very close to her right eye, she began to cup her eye and her face. Her fellow classmate and friend, Katy Nicol, was sitting next to her and ran to Maddie for help. She then began to guide her out of the room as Celia was going into total shock. Celia began to feel completely ungrounded and the pain worsened as she began to cry and shake.
• I grabbed my Eden Energy Medicine (EEM) toolkit and immediately jumped up and ran out into the hall to see how I could help. As Maddie and Katy had sat her down in a comfortable spot, Katy saw the stinger and removed it straight away. She also said “use vinegar for wasps” as I said we need some ice for the swelling, Katy and João ran to the restaurant for ice and vinegar.
• Celia’s face was beginning to swell and her eye was quickly closing shut as João applied the vinegar and then ice, I started using various EEM protocols beginning with asking João to hold her Shock Points as I started Pain Relief techniques. We then began together to hold Triple Warmer Strengthening Points on her. For the second time today as I had just returned from holding TW Strengthening Points for an Asthma Attack. I also remarked that it wasn’t necessary for them to have a full-on experience to each protocol they had just learned.
• Who knew that Katy had three decades of experience as a crisis nurse working in the ICU, is a trained psychotherapist, and a spiritual healer who carries homeopathic remedies with her and also had personal wasp experience as she had stepped on one the week before. We were our own EEM paramedic squad and she had just the homeopathic remedies needed for histamine reactions and Apis for stings. After we used energy testing for the substances, it was determined a high dose was required.
• Then I switched back to more pain relief techniques directly over the eye while João did the Brazilian Toe Technique to help with pain, inflammation, and grounding. I began using a variety of pain techniques including Pain Siphoning with my index finger and thumb making the OK sign as it siphoned out my pinky (heart meridian finger); flipping the magnet to clear polarity; holding the north side of the magnet over the area for pain relief; and clearing the vortex with a crystal. Using a selenite wand, I began to do a mini Chakra clear over the eye followed by tiny Figure 8’s and the Lotus Blossom. All of which began to give Celia some relief.
