Tanya Zajdel – Qigong For Sexual Trauma
Reclaim Power, Heal Emotionally, and Restore Body-Mind Harmony
The Qigong for Sexual Trauma program is a trauma-informed, expert-led journey that empowers survivors to reconnect with their bodies, restore emotional balance, and gently release trauma held deep within the nervous system.
Created by Rewire Trauma Therapy, this self-paced course blends Taoist Qigong, breathwork, meditation, and energy awareness to support survivors and therapists in processing complex emotions such as fear, loss, anger, and shame—without re-triggering.
Why Qigong for Trauma Healing?
Sexual trauma deeply impacts the nervous system, often creating dissociation, numbness, chronic tension, and emotional disconnection. While talk therapy may be helpful, it often doesn’t address how trauma is stored somatically in tissues, muscles, and energy pathways.
Qigong, a 5,000-year-old healing practice from Traditional Chinese Medicine, offers a body-based, movement-centered approach that:
Regulates the parasympathetic nervous system
Releases blocked energy (qi) from trauma-affected tissues
Increases internal awareness and a sense of safety
Enhances emotional resilience, confidence, and body sovereignty
Heals imbalances in the immune, endocrine, and limbic systems
Studies show that Qigong promotes groundedness, emotional regulation, and inner strength, especially for survivors of trauma who are learning to feel safe in their bodies again (Yeung et al., 2018; Shonin et al., 2013).
